あるバレリーナ-A ballerina

スベトラーナというバレリーナがいる
There is a ballerina named Svetlana

バレエを知らない人は当然知らないだろうし
Surely people who don’t know ballet never know her

関心もなく、続けて読む気も失せるだろう
never be interested, would get lost to read continuously

だが、これは個人が自分勝手に書くブログなので
Although, this is a blog written by an individual with one’s own way

誰にも気兼ねせず、その人について語る
Without feeling constrained to anyone, I will talk about her

芸術界で世に名を知らせるのは本当の才能が無いと無理だ
It is impossible to inform one’s name in the artistic world without real talent

特にバレエの世界でトップになるには
Particularly, to become the top in the ballet world

生まれ持った才能に、毎日血まみれの訓練が要求される
　must be born with gifted, requested bloody training every day

血まみれというのは、トウシューズを履く際の足指の怪我からの血だ
Bloody training means, the injury blood when put on toe shoes

坐禅でトップなれたお坊さんがいるとしても
If there is a monk who has become the top through doing zazen

血まみれになることはまず無い
 above all, never be blooded

至ってきれいで、戦いとしてありえるのは睡魔だけだろう
Exceedingly stay clean, only could be as a fighting is drowsiness

ところが、バレエでは、人間本来の身体機能に逆らって
However, in the ballet, against the physical function of human intrinsic 

極限まで体を鍛える
 train body to the limit

スベトラーナは人間の身体可動範囲を遥かに超えて
Svetlana reached far beyond to the range of human body movable

また、プリマバレリーナとしての水準も遥かに超えて
 in addition, also reached far beyond to the level of as prima ballerinas

特々の彼女自身のバレエスタイルを創造した
She created her own ballet style

完璧極まる境地を見せているのだ
She shows the status of extreme flawless

彼女の白鳥の湖バレエを観ると
Watching her Swan Lake ballet

長年の血まみれの苦痛を見せない堂々しさがある
She has dignity that never show many years of the bloody training

激しい息さえも見せない自尊心がダイヤモンドのように輝くのだ
Her pride is shining like a diamond that would not let audience notice her fierce breathing

彼女のバレエを観ると、心が洗われる気がする
Watching her ballet, I feel like my mind is rinsed out

世欲の欲望も見ている瞬間は忘れらるのだ
I can forget those earthly desires while I watching her

私は宗教に関係なく坐禅を研究しているため
I have been studying zazen-meditation irrelevantly for a religion

多くのお坊さんや宗派について勉強をしてきた
 also studying about many monks and sectarians

けれど、どのお坊さんも見た目や説から
But from any of monk’s out-looks and theories

彼女のような崇高さを感じさせる人はいなかった
 they never let me feel nobility that alike she has

彼女のように一つの生き方を極めたら
Such as her life that ultimate with the one way

人に極めることの尊厳さを伝えるようになるだろう
 it would be transferred to people that the dignity of alternative
