OH MY GIRL to appear at Japan's "9th KMF2016"
The annual K-POP sharing charity Goodwill concert "9th KMF2016" will be held every fall for the 9th year in a row, and will feature the latest hot rookies "OH MY GIRL", "SNUPER" and "KNK". "MR.MR", who will be releasing their 2nd single in Japan, will make a special guest appearance!
KMF has been attracting attention as a gateway for new artists to give a boost to their activities in Japan, and it has entertained fans with original songs by the artists, special stages for each performer, and a finale with all the performers, providing freshness and new discoveries that can only be seen at "KMF", as well as a highly satisfying content that leaves an impression! This year too, we have high hopes for the super fresh "9th KMF2016," which will leave new impressions and discoveries!
The "9th KMF2016," a must-see for music fans, will be held in two cities: Zepp Sapporo on Saturday, September 17th, and Zepp DiverCity TOKYO on Monday, September 19th (National Holiday).

It is true that "OH MY GIRL" is gradually gaining popularity.
However, while there have been many much-talked-about girl group debuts, it is unfortunate that the individual characters of the members are not as strong.
With "CLOSER" and "LIAR LIAR," they succeeded in creating a unique image as a girl group, and their popularity as a group has expanded considerably.
However, it seems that they lost momentum in the process of finding their favorite member.
It would have been better if Arin, YooA, or Seunghee had attracted attention and popularity, but it seems to have been spread evenly.
Everyone was serious and quiet, so maybe they didn't have a mood-maker who could act as an introduction to their popularity.
Arin would have been a good fit visually, but the agency probably didn't take that strategy and instead took a more forward-looking approach.
As a result, although they were recognized as a group of highly skilled girls, their popularity continued to be low-key.
Thanks to this, I was grateful to be able to enjoy their music at their street concerts.
When I saw their performance of their comeback song "Windy Day" at the end of May, I got the impression that they had blended in with any other group of girls.
They are as cute as ever, but it's unfortunate that the music is too focused on that, and it seems to limit the age group that watches their performances.
Overall, they are certainly a group of highly skilled girls.
I even feel that the quality of their performance surpasses that of TWICE and Lovelyz.
I hope these girls will create music that moves the hearts of a wide range of generations.
Recently, I've started to find Hyojung and Seunghee's singing voices appealing.
