First of all, we are very sorry for any inconvenience or difficulty this crisis may be causing you, your relatives, friends or work partners.
The safety and the well-being of our employees and clients are the top priority for us, and we are working with the relevant authorities, following all the guidelines provided by WHO (World Health Organization) and EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to ensure the health of our staff and customers, minimizing any risk.
We want you to feel confident when traveling with us. As a result, we have reinforced some of our procedures, beyond the protocols required by the authorities: - We have enhanced our overnight cleaning procedures with anti-bacterial and hospital-grade disinfectant throughout our aircrafts according to EASA recommendations.
- Our fleet is fitted with extremely efficient HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestors) filters, which remove particles in the air, down to the size of microscopic bacteria and virus clusters (with an efficiency of better than 99.99%).
In addition, and for your peace of mind, we want to remind you about our available flexible policies when booking your next flight during these days: - Free change fee policy for flights booked between March 11th and April 6th to fly until June 15th: if your plans change or if you decide to postpone your travel between those dates, we will not charge any fee to change your flights (though fare differences might apply).
- Flexible plan: if you have the Flex plan included in your booking, remember that you can also cancel your flight, apart from the free-of-charge flight change. The funds used to pay for your flight will be credited to your Volotea account and can be applied to future travel, as long as you cancel your reservation at least 4h prior to the scheduled departure. This credit is valid for future travel up to one year from the original purchase date.
Hopefully, these policies will provide you with comfort and confidence so you can book your travel with us as this crisis will surely be over at some point.
