◎ 慶応仲通りとは長年のお付き合いになります。かれこれ３６年にもなるでしょうか。２２歳のときから現在の５８歳まで、幾度となく行き来したことでしょう。変わらぬ風景がバブル経済の崩壊以降、お店の入れ替わりも頻繁になり、数々のチェーン店が出店してきました。
Keio Nakadori and I have known each other for many years. It must be 36 years now.

Since the bursting of the bubble economy, the shops have changed frequently and many chain shops have opened in the area.
◎ 大半は小さな建物が多いのですが、建築会館は別ですね。格式ある立派な会館なのです。ベンチのある中庭が、暑い日などには絶好の日陰ポイントになっています。スタンド灰皿も複数個所にあったのですが、先日、中庭を通り抜けたらすべて消えていました。とても残念な気持ちになりました。
On Keio Naka-dori, most of the buildings are small, but not the Architecture Hall. It is a prestigious and magnificent hall. The courtyard with its benches is a great shade point on hot days. There were also several stand ashtrays in several places, but when I walked through the courtyard the other day, they had all disappeared. I was very disappointed.
