Biographical Note

Born in Japan in 1893, Came to this country in 1906. Studied in Los Angeles and New York.
Resides in New York City, where he serves as instructor at the Art Students' League and a t the New School for Social Research.

この本のラーストページには、クニヨシの略歴が書かれています。　その中で彼の生年月日が、間違って印刷されています。　ロイド・グッドリッチが書いたクニヨシの回顧展カタログも同じ様に間違っていました。　

この本が間違いの元かもしれません、多分最初の処でクニヨシが、１３歳の時にアメリカかミリタリー・スクールのどちらかに行くことを決めたと書いた部分を、１３歳の時に渡米したと早とちりしたのでしょう。

以上でクニヨシの自伝の翻訳は一段落しました。　出来ればこれを叩き台にして、もう少しマシな日本語で書き直せば完結になると思うけれど、多分やらないだろう。　葉悦さん、お疲れ様でした。
