ひどい話で、この先生を特定して仕留めるにあたって、そこの学校の生徒がカネをもらって「あー、あの先生だよ」とやらかしたとか。

「Four school pupils who may have helped identify Mr Paty to his killer in exchange for payment have been detained, a judicial source told the AFP news agency on Monday.」

「The father of a pupil who reportedly launched an online campaign against Mr Paty and a preacher described by French media as a radical Islamist were among six people arrested on Saturday. Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin accused the two men of having issued a "fatwa" against the teacher.」

で。「教室を出るように」では教育を受ける権利を疎外するーというクレームもアリだが、ここからしてすでに嘘だったという。「ちょっと出ていてくれ」じゃなく、「俺の授業から出ていけ」と言われたのは我慢ならん！と保護者が思ったのだろうところ、実際は「目、つむっててね」だったという…。

「It then emerged that the campaign against the history and geography teacher had been based on a distorted account of what had happened in class days earlier.
As he had done in similar lessons on free speech in previous years, Paty warned students that he was about to show a depiction of Muhammad. He said anyone who thought they might be offended could close their eyes.
The girl had originally claimed the teacher had asked Muslim pupils to leave the room. When she objected she was suspended from school, she said. It now appears that the girl was suspended the day before the class was given, according to Le Parisien newspaper, because of repeated absence from school.
The girl explains in her leaked testimony that she made up the story so as not to disappoint her father. He posted two videos on social media in response to the allegations.」

An investigation has begun after posters were put up last week at Sciences Po university in Grenoble that read "Fascists in our lecture halls, Islamophobia kills", naming the two professors.」

「A parent of one of the pupils reacted angrily to the incident, accusing Mr Paty of showing naked pictures of the Prophet Muhammad. The father lodged a formal complaint and produced videos demonstrating the anger at Mr Paty's actions, and calling on people to go to the school to protest.
The father is one of the people in custody, Mr Ricard said, adding that this man's half-sister had joined the Islamic State organisation in Syria in 2014.」
「Aside from the horror of this killing, there's powerful symbolism too. The education minister said the root of what happened was "hatred of the Republic".
The passing on of French national values - liberty, equality, fraternity - is seen as a core task of the education system here.」
