New Identity for Power-Cell Battery Products

BLOOMINGDALE, IL. May 1, 2011 - Power-Cell Battery Products announced today that it is now doing business as ZEUS Battery Products. The identity change will make it easier for customers and staff who have been referring to the company by both names until now.

 

"There has been some confusion in the past because we are the only manufacturer of ZEUS brand batteries and battery products," explained company president Mills Rendell. "But the official company name was Power-Cell. So people were referring to us by both names."

 

Another reason for the identity change is to celebrate the 10th anniversary and success of the ZEUS battery brand.

 

"We want to capitalize on the brand's expansion by creating a uniform message that includes a uniform identity," Rendell said. "As the brand continues to become more familiar, more people are referring to us as 'ZEUS' anyway. It just made sense to make it official. We expect the transition to the new identity will be fairly effortless."

 

The parent company will remain Power-Cell Battery Products, LLC.

New Accessory Provides Proactive Battery Management Capability

 

PITTSBURGH -- October 28, 2003 - Vocollect, the global leader in integrated voice-directed distribution systems, announced the introduction of its new five (5) bay Talkman® T2 Battery Analyzer. The new accessory - the first of its kind for mobile devices - gives Vocollect's Talkman customers the capability to accurately measure battery capacity and predict performance on the job. For customers, the key benefits are twofold: on a daily basis, they can assure they are sending a Talkman user out to the warehouse floor with a battery that will last for an entire shift, thus minimizing downtime; and on an ongoing basis, they can more effectively plan for the battery rotation and replacement needs of their specific warehouse operation.

 

According to Greg Holland, Vocollect's hardware product manager, "Our batteries are designed to provide a full eight-plus hours of operation for Talkman wearable computers on a single charge, and our customers rely on this performance." By measuring the charge capacity for each battery as it ages, an operations manager can predict charge life cycles and proactively optimize usage.
