Hong Kong Revolution: Xi Jinping Has No Sense of International Relationships
"A country based on totalitarian principles says that the people—its citizens—exist for the sake of the country.
Totalitarian countries consider their people to be their servants, and when someone has not shown to serve his or her country, they are free to decide whether this person should live or perish. In order for a country of a united cause to survive, it is allowed to limit the rights of the people and suppress them.
This is what a totalitarian country is.
There are three signs of a totalitarian country.
The first sign is a secret or special police force keeping the country’s citizens under surveillance.
The second sign is the existence of internment camps.
The third sign is a system of purging or slaughtering people.
When a country is seen to have all three of these things—a secret police, internment camps, and a system of purging—this signifies a totalitarian country, according to Hannah Arendt.
Your neighboring country of the PRC, with its large population and developed economy, may seem an ideal place at first glance.
But since Hong Kong was reverted to the PRC, the Hong Kong people have faced difficult lives, suppressed freedom, and an uncertain future.
A leading country of the world should have more knowledge about the rest of the world and a better awareness of how it’s being perceived by the international society.
The problem in the PRC boils down to a single point, which is Xi Jinping’s lack of international sense.
His country should have seen more changes than it has thus far if Xi Jinping truly has a better knowledge and understanding of international society and its situation."
