"BTS" J-HOPE, "Hope World" selected as TIME's "5 songs to listen to this week"

J-Hope's Micktape ``Hope World'' of ``BTS'' was selected as one of the ``5 songs to listen to this week'' recommended by the American weekly current affairs magazine ``TIME''.

On the 2nd (local time), the magazine published an article titled ``5 Songs You Should Listen to This Week,'' and announced 5 songs, including ``Hope World,'' a song from J-Hope's mixtape.

The magazine said, ``J-HOPE has released a solo mixtape to introduce himself as an artist with his own style,'' and ``J-HOPE is the third member of BTS to release a mixtape.'' announced.''

He went on to say, ``Same as the name of the mixtape album, the first song, ``Hope World,'' is a bright and fresh song centered on rap,'' adding, ``This song, sung in Korean, captures J-Hope's infectious positive vibe.'' It will be difficult to miss the atmosphere."

J-HOPE released his first mixtape "Hope World" on the 2nd. Immediately after its release, ``Hope World'' reached number one on iTunes' ``Top Album Chart'' in 63 countries and regions around the world, setting a record for the highest number of songs by a Korean solo artist.

Isn't it possible for BTS members to pursue solo activities in America?
It seems like it could be done with a small box. It seems like a unit of 2 to 3 people could definitely perform the stage (though they would probably focus on the stage for all members).

Watch J-HOPE's "Daydream". The up-tempo rap is exciting. After listening to five tracks, I understood him and thought, ``Oh, this is what it's like.''
The "Daydream" MV has been viewed more than 18 million times since it was uploaded. It's only been two days. The momentum is no different from the songs performed by BTS as a whole. The presence of the other members is probably pushing him back.
At this rate, I think we can expect an even more amazing flow from their next comeback.

Just the other day, I read an article that said the music video for "Not Today", a song from the album "WINGS Gaiden: YOU NEVER WALK ALONE", which was released on YouTube, had surpassed 200 million views.
The fifth song follows “FIRE”, “DOPE”, “Blood, Sweat, Tears”, and “DNA”.
It exceeds 200 million.
Following them, the songs that exceeded 100 million were "Boy In Luv (190 million)," "Save ME (190 million)," "Spring Day (150 million)," "Danger (100 million)," There are a total of 7 songs including "I NEED U (120 million)", "War of Hormone (120 million)", and "MIC Drop (Remix (180 million)").
Judging from the current trend of BTS's popularity, "MIC Drop (Remix)" is expected to reach the 200 million mark within two months, and "Boy In Luv" and "Save ME" will also reach the 200 million mark by the end of this year.

It feels like BTS has been leading hit songs with energetic sounds such as "FIRE" and "DOPE." However, strangely enough, I had the impression that the softer sounds were becoming more popular and established.
Isn't "DNA" the sound that was created by fusing both hard and soft? I feel like this song was the one that successfully combined hit and popularity and pushed BTS to major popularity.
With the success of this song, I think fans of Shiki, who really like this style but not that one, are starting to love both types.
This song would have been easy for American boys and girls to pick up on.
However, on the other hand, there may be some fans who have left the band because they liked their unique sound but didn't accept their perestroika (two-horse) compromise style. However, we should appreciate the fact that BTS has given momentum to the global advancement of K-Pop.

K-POP has been energized by the energy of girl groups. Perhaps because the stake that BTS has set has become a benchmark, this year's girl group is showing more spirit than ever before.
At this rate, girls other than TWICE may also produce results.
