The new KARA has started their third Japan tour! They heated up Fukuoka!
On the 24th, "KARA THE 3rd JAPAN TOUR 2014 'KARASIA'" was held at Fukuoka Sunpalace.
The tickets for the concert were sold out, even the additional standing seats.
KARA opened with the title song of their 6th mini album, "Mamma Mia!", and performed a splendid stage with hits such as "Pretty Girl," "Mister," and "STEP," as well as "Jet Coaster Love" and "GO GO Summer!", which were big hits in Japan, and thrilled local fans.
The concert, which also featured solo performances and duets by Gyuri & Seungyeon and Hara & Youngji, was a perfect display of KARA's unique charm.
Yongji, who joined the group as a new member in July this year, successfully performed her first concert stage, which consisted of about 20 songs, despite the short preparation time, demonstrating her perfect harmony with her older sisters.
During the performance, KARA responded to the fans' unchanging cheers, saying, "It's been a while since we've seen you all. We're so happy. Seeing you all having fun has really touched us, and we're full of gratitude. We'll continue to bring you great music!"
Yongji, who appeared on a big stage for the first time as a member of KARA, expressed her excitement and gratitude, saying, "I'll never forget this moment today. I hope you all won't forget it either. I'll do my best!"
KARA will begin their Japan tour with 10 shows in seven cities, including Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Kanazawa, and Niigata, until November 19.
(From K-POP News)
The new KARA has started a nationwide tour in Japan as a four-member group.
The tour will be held in seven cities, including Yokohama, Osaka, Nagoya, Kanazawa, and Niigata, for a total of ten dates until November 19th.
I feel a little uneasy about KARA losing one member and becoming a four-member group.
But that doesn't mean I've lost my enthusiasm for them.
Many K-POP girls have debuted in Japan, but most of them only become a hot topic for a while and then disappear.
Amidst all of this, KARA and Girls' Generation became popular in Japan along with 2NE1.
They maintained that popularity for several years and also experienced the nadir of K-POP popularity.
With this update, Nicole and Jiyeon have left, and KARA has come to Japan with a new member, Yeongji.
Fans will be paying close attention to her performance.
To regain the popularity that has dwindled since the departure of Nicole and Jiyeon, the four members - leader Gyuri, Hara, Seungyeon and Yongji - will need to join forces and work harder than ever before.
We hope that KARA will continue to fill the venues until the last day of this tour.
