On the third day since their debut, girl group GWSN is already drawing attention with their hot progress.
GWSN's first album "THE PARK IN THE NIGHT part one" was ranked first on the real-time album sales chart of online CD shop "Shinnara Records" as of 10 am on the 7th.
Despite being a new group that has just debuted, GWSN has succeeded in topping the charts, beating out many popular artists, proving that they are a hot rookie that the K-pop world is paying attention to.
GWSN, who took their brilliant first step into the K-pop world by releasing their debut album and holding a showcase amid the expectations of many at 6 pm on the 5th, successfully made their music broadcast debut through Mnet's "M COUNTDOWN" on the 6th.
The music video for GWSN's title track "Puzzle Moon" has been viewed more than one million times in less than two days since its release, and the attention on GWSN continues.
(From K-POP News)
This article on GWSN was written after watching the title track "Puzzle Moon" on YouTube and writing my impressions partway through.
The race for new girls is focused on (G)I-DLE, who are gaining overwhelming popularity and a foothold with their girl crush music, and LOONA, who made their debut with ambitious tactics.
I don't think GWSN's performance was bad.
However, their ordinary pure style is unlikely to be able to compete with (G)I-DLE, who are new but already talented, and LOONA, who are competing by building up their individual pure images.
I thought I would write my impressions after they became a little more popular.
Today I came across an article I had written.
It was just a bunch of random stuff, without mentioning (G)I-DLE or LOONA.
I couldn't bear to read it so I deleted it.
It's impossible to say whether they can maintain their popularity.
However, there are at least five things that Pure Girls should emulate musically.
They won't be popular unless they break through even one of those.
However, seeing their performance today, I felt there was some potential.
The performance was decent, and the visuals of each member are getting better every time I see them.
I look forward to seeing GWSN's efforts.
