ヒロオガワ、秋の新譜「Colors of wind」ですが、マスタリングの工程に入りました。
＊制作は外注に移行しており、契約会社が、手配しています。
で、マスタリングプルーフ（初回）が届き、検聴しましたが、ミックスダウンの音源が、程よく補正されてバランスが格段に良くなっていました。独りよがりになりがちなミックスを元に、エンジニアが入る事で、フラットな音響が得られるのです。個人的には、ベース（ボトム）やトップを強調しがちなのですが、マスタリングで中音域が、持ち上がり、結果、太くて芯のあるサウンドになりました。
これから先は煮詰めていくわけですが、3月には、「原盤」ができるとの見通し。楽しみです。
パッケージ（ジャケットなど）は、まだ、未決事項が多く、どうなるのか、わかりませんが、ベスト盤（第2弾）にふさわしい「豪華」なパッケージになるかと思います。

Then, when I received the mastering proof (first time) and listened to it, the sound source of the mixdown was corrected moderately and the balance was significantly improved. Based on the mix that tends to be selfish, the engineer can get a flat sound. Personally, I tend to emphasize the bass (bottom) and top, but mastering raises the midrange, resulting in a thicker, more cored sound. From now on, it will be further corrected, and it is expected that a "master" will be created in March. I'm looking forward to it. There are still many undecided matters regarding the package (jacket, etc.), and I don't know what will happen, but I think it will be a "luxury" package suitable for the best compilation album (2nd edition).
