新譜「crossroads」ジャズ批評のレビュー

ただいま発売中のジャズマガジン「ジャズ批評」２３５号に新譜「crossroads」の広告とレビューが掲載されています。
特にレビューが凄い！いつもは辛口の村井さんだが、本作では、手放しの讃えようで、何だか、こそばゆくなる感じ？でも聴きどころを押さえていて「何推し」かが良くわかりました。

以下はレビュー記事の英訳版です。
The first time I reviewed Hiro Ogawa's CD in this magazine was "NOAH" in 2016. This new work "crossroads" begins with a remix of "PANAKEIA" that was included in "Noah". A terrifyingly technical pianist and keyboardist, I have no choice but to admire Ogawa's determination to maintain the stance of building all the backing tracks by himself. This time as well, there are fusion-funk tracks, improvisational tracks, classical-sounding songs, and progressive songs, but the quality of improvisation as a pianist is overwhelming. . Listening to the 3 tracks titled "Trio Music", I'm thinking I want bass and drums that respond in real time to this amazing piano solo.  (Murai)
