1962(昭和37)年10月17日(水)にマンチェスターのローカルTV番組『ピープル･アンド･プレイス (People And Places)』に出演してTVデビューを果たしたビートルズはこの日、同じ番組へ再び出演するためグラナダTVセンター (Granada TV Centre) へ戻って来た。リハーサルが行われたの後、11:00am～1:00pmに第4スタジオで本番が収録された。彼らは♪Love Me Do♪と♪A Taste Of Honey♪を演奏している。この時の舞台設定はビートルズにとってはとても変わったものであった。♪Love Me Do♪では、あたかもソロ歌手がバンドの前で歌う如くにジョンは椅子に腰かけて歌い、他はみんな立っていた。『A Taste Of Honey』ではメンバー全員がそれぞれの楽器を演奏したが、スーツの上着を脱いだチョッキ姿であった。この日の『People And Places』は前回とは異なり、生放送ではなく録画であった。これは
1962(昭和37)年11月02日(金)の6:30pm～7:00pmにイングランドの北部と北西部に向けてオンエアされるが、その頃ビートルズはハンブルグにいた。

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛『The Beatles Anthology ３』に、1969年1月26日のテイクが収録されている。これはフィル・スペクターによるオーケストラがオーバーダブされる前のシンプルな演奏である。が、ライナーに書かれている「アルバム『レット・イット・ビー』と同じもの」という記述と、マーク・ルウィソーンの「ザ・ビートルズ レコーディング・セッションズ完全版」の記述に矛盾が生じている。確かに「レット・イット・ビー」収録のポールのヴォーカルトラックはこの1月26日のテイクと同じである。しかし、このアンソロジーに収録されたバージョンは未発表アルバム「ゲット・バック」に収められた物と全く同じであり、「ビートルズ・レコーディング・セッション」の「『ゲット・バック』には1月31日のバージョンが収められた」という記述とも違うし、「フィル・スペクターは1月31日のテイクにオーケストラを重ねた」とも書いてある。もしアンソロジーのライナーが正しければ、リリースされたものは1月26日のテイク以外は一切使用していない、という事になるので、どっちが正しいのかをぜひ知りたい所である

The Beatles' London area television deb?t on ITV's Tuesday Rendezvous. I had originally dated these photos as 17 February 1963 but closer examination reveals that these two photos do not go with the February 1963 set. It took a bit of detective work to determine this date. Here's what we have... Barring the possibility that these two photos might, themselves, each come from different broadcasts, I'm presuming they are from the same program. These photos obviously come from two different songs and both are mimed. Circa this era, The Beatles performed two songs on the following programs (listed by recording date)

♪Love Me Do♪ - "Some Other Guy" Lewisohn seems to indicate that this was a live performance. Since they would not record a studio version (for the BBC) of "Some Other Guy" (to mime to) for over another month and it is unlikely that it was played on acoustics anyway, these photos wouldn't come from this date

♪Love Me Do♪ - "A Taste Of Honey" Lewisohn describes the 29 October 1962 appearance as "a most unusual stage-setting... George and Paul standing... John sat without and instrument... as would a solo singer fronting a support group." Ah ha, we're on the right. track, However... Lewisohn goes on to describe that, for "A Taste Of Honey", they removed their jackets.

I've made an educated guess on the date for these photos. They were taken off a television screen. Because of Ringo's drum head, they have to date late 1962. Because John is seen without his guitar in at least photos 1 and 3, they must be miming "Love Me Do". However, in photo 2, George appears to be singing. Is that a second song? In the earliest surviving footage of The Beatles performing/miming to "Love Me Do" (August 1963), George is not seen singing. Below is a list of The Beatles' 1962 television appearances.

●1963年の10月26日から30日の間に行われたビートルズのスウェーデン・ツアーの際に書かれたサインです。
こちらはスウェーデンの人気番組である
●「DROP IN」にビートルズが出演した時の同番組のタイムスケジュール、
出演者、スタッフのリストなどが印刷されたキューシートに、ビートルズの4 人はもちろん、
同番組の出演者のサインも共に書かれています。全員が青のボールペンで書いています。
なんとポールは2 箇所にサインしています！
他のメンバーのサインも大きくキレイに書かれています。
コンディションは折り畳み跡、下部に少しシミがありますが、
状態良好です。
この時の映像はアンソロジーでも取り上げられていましたが、
最近では大変きれいな画像も発掘されておりyoutubeなどでも見ることができるようです。

１９６６年夏にあったビートルズの日本公演をめぐり、警視庁が警備記録として撮影した映像の開示の是非が争われた訴訟の上告審で、一部を不開示とした警視庁側の対応を「妥当」とした一、二審判決が確定した。最高裁第一小法廷（池上政幸裁判長）が
２５日(木)付の決定で、全面開示を求めた市民団体の上告を退けた。
対象となったのは、コンサート会場の武道館や空港で撮影された約３５分間の映像。名古屋市の「情報公開市民センター」が全面公開を求めたが、一般人の顔部分が加工され、非開示とされた。一審・東京地裁は「半世紀前の撮影でも、特定の個人を識別できるほど鮮明」として対応は妥当と認め、二審・東京高裁も支持した。（岡本玄）

１９６６年、日本武道館で行われたビートルズの日本公演＝朝日新聞社撮影
１９６６年夏、日本武道館であったビートルズの日本公演。「国賓級」といわれた厳重な警備態勢を記録した約３５分のフィルムが警視庁に保管されている。大部分は未公開だが、半世紀以上を経た現在、映像の全面公開を求める裁判が続いている。

リンゴ・スター氏が「サー」に 元ビートルズでは２人目
映像は６６年６月２９日～７月３日に警視庁が撮影したもの。２０１４年に一部報道で存在が広く知られるようになった。このうち約１７秒分は、１６年公開のドキュメンタリー映画「ザ・ビートルズ～ＥＩＧＨＴ（エイト） ＤＡＹＳ（デイズ） Ａ（ア） ＷＥＥＫ（ウィーク）」にも提供された。
ビートルズファンで、全国市民オンブズマン連絡会議事務局長の新海聡弁護士（愛知県弁護士会）が「歴史的な資料」として１５年、警視庁に情報公開請求をした。
警視庁は一般人の顔が識別できるなどとして、モザイク処理した上での一部公開を提案したが、新海弁護士は「５０年以上前の映像で個人の識別はできない」「一部は映画に提供されており、条例で開示義務がある情報にあたる」などと主張。全面公開を求めて昨年１月に東京地裁に提訴した。

昨年１２月の地裁判決は、映像は鮮明であり「特定の個人を識別できる」などとして請求を棄却した。
判決を不服として、東京高裁に控訴した新海弁護士は「歴史的にもオープンにされるべき資料。個人情報とは何かが十分に理解されずに、何でも非公開にされているのではないか。情報公開の現状を問題提起したい」と語った。
警視庁は取材に「現時点では映像を公開する予定はありません。適切に保管していく予定です」としている。

切り出し画像を記者が裁判所で閲覧
裁判で、警視庁を管轄する東京都側は、フィルムから切り出した画像７０枚を資料として提出している。どんな映像が残っているのか――。東京高裁に確認すると、コピーは無理だが閲覧ならできるという。せめて雰囲気だけでも伝えたいと、ビートルマニアの記者（２８）が閲覧し、模写してきた。
