Tsuruga Municipal Museum ( 敦賀市博物館）Tsuruga City,Fukui Prefecture,Japan./ The Owada Bank and Shoshichi Owada: In 1927 ,the museum building was used as the second main office of the Owada Bank,established by Tsuruga merchant Shoshichi Owada ( 1857-1947). He contributed toward the davelopment of Tsuruga's internationnal commerce. The second main office of the owada Bank was a public facility with a hall and restaurant for the local people as well as the bank's employees.
