Temple " Kofukuji Temple " ( 興福寺）in Nara City,Nara Prefecture,Japan./ The Kofukuji Temple is located to the east of JR Nara Railway Station. The Kofukuji Tample is founded in the 7 the century,2010 marks the 1300 aniversary of the foundation of this temple.The five-story pagoda,a symbpl of Nara City,was reconstructed about 600 years ago ( 1426) after it had burned down five times. Temple " Byakuji Temple " ( 白毫寺）in Nara City,Nara Prefecture,Japan./ The Byakugoji Temple is founded in 715 by the priest Gonso,the teacher of Kobo Daishi. The Site is said to have been a part of villa of Shinki-no-miko. the seventh prince and son of Emperor Tenchi. The temple was restored by the priest Eison in the Kamakura period. Even after the rise and fall of the temple power,the Hond ( Main Hall) and the Miedo still remain. Temple " Shinyakushiji Temple " ( 新薬師寺）in Nara City,Nara Prefecture,Japan./ The Shinyakushiji Temple is located to the east of JR Railaway Station.The Shinyakushiji is founded in 747 by Empress Komyo to prayer for the recovery of her husband, all that remains after several fires is the main hall housing a seated Yakushi Nyorai believed to heal the sick.The Buddha is surronded by statues of the Twelve Heavenly Generals, the oldest eaamplee in Japan,and famous for the exquste quality of their gates,Ojizo hall and the belfry are architectually significant. The belfry is part of local legend: It is said an oni ( ogre) that terrorised the town was ambshed by the balfy and chased away. Kasuga Grand Shrine ( 春日大社）in Nata City,Nara Prefecture,Japan./ Place:The Kasuga Grand Shrine is located to the east of JR Nara Railway Station.The Kasuga Grand Shrine believed to have founded by the Fujiwara Family ( Most powerful imperal court nobles in the Tempyo period),to their tutelary deity,after the capital was moved to Heijo. The architectual style of the sanctuary is called the " Kasuga style",because of the charcterstic shape of its roof.
