1人でする野鳥保護ボランティア my wild birds volunteer days

 冬になると、寒くなり始め、木の葉も落ち葉になり、実がならなくなります。

寒い冬。食べ物の果物や穀類がまったくなくなってしまう時期。春まで生きのびるためには、なるべくエネルギーの消費を抑えなければなりません。

野鳥にとって寒い冬は、まさに生死との戦いの期間です。

　私たち人間が想像するよりもはるかに厳しい環境で、野鳥達は耐えしのんでいます。

私は、

　“ 冬の間にご飯となる食べ物を置くことは、

     できないだろうか？” 

と、心の中でそう思いました。

電話で東京都内の区役所に問い合わせをしてみました。他県の公園にも問い合わせをしてみました。しかし、

　現在、東京都や近隣の他県では、

ほとんどの公園や住民が住んでいる場所では、野鳥のエサやりが禁止になっている、という返事でした。

それでも、私は、さらに東京中の野鳥公園や、大きめの公園、貸し農園に電話をかけて聞きました。

どの場所も

鳥のエサやフルーツ、手作りの種などを脂で固めたバードケーキなどを与えるのは禁止、という返事でした。

いつか、野鳥にエサをおける場所があれば

いいのに、と思いました。

なぜなら、それで生きのびることができるかもしれないからです。

またの機会を探してみます。

In the winter season, cold wind brew and leaves are falling. There are no orchards  of the tree. 

In the cold winter and the situation of no crops and fruit to eat, Wild birds must avoid energy loss to survival to the coming spring season. 

It is very time of a life and death struggle. 

Beyond our human imagination, Wild birds must persevere hard time in Winter. 

 I think to myself if I could put something to eat for wild birds. 

 I made phone calling to the city council in Tokyo, Park for wild birds sanctuary, public Park in outside area of Tokyo. 

 Their answer was that bird feeder is not accepted in park, city and residence area at Tokyo and around outside area of Tokyo. 

 I tried to make phone calling to more wider park, lent farming field, Wild birds park again. 

 

All their answer was that bird feed, seeds, fruits , bird cakes are not accepted to put the public places of park, or field at Tokyo. 

 

I was very disappointed about it. 

I hope if I can put bird feeder in Winters season. 

I will try in next time. 

1人で野鳥ボランティア my days in self volunteer of wild birds.

  3年くらい前から、野鳥保護ボランティアをやってます。私は、自分の病気の療養をしながら、私が出来る範囲内のことを、時々やってます。Eメールや電話などです。

先月、近くの小田急線駅前の開発業者に問い合わせのメールを送りました。

”ハトさんの雨宿りできる場所を建設予定の建物に作って欲しい” 

そういう内容のメールを送りました。

解答は、感染予防のため、無理という解答でした。

よく駅前に、ハトがいるのを見ます。そして雨でずぶ濡れになっているハトを見ました。

またの機会を探します。

 I have started self volunteer for wild birds since 2020. 

I have been struggle with my disease for these years. 

With my struggle days towards my sickness, I try to do something for wild birds. It is Email or phone calling. 

In last month, I sent an inquire mail to the city developing company. There are construction and developing around the station near my living place now. 

My inquiry was about asking to make a kind of shelter space for pigeon wild birds to avoid rain falls. 

Their reply was “we can not possible to make those spaces at the moment in consideration to infection.”

I often see many pigeon birds around station.  I remember that I saw weaken pigeon due to very wet in rain around the station. 

I will try next chance or opportunity.
