Matcha contains the nutrients from the entire tea leaf, resulting in more caffeine and antioxidants than is usually found in green tea. It contains antioxidants that improve concentration and energy levels in the body; and also other healing properties.

Matcha green tea was developed in China more than 11 centuries ago when the Chinese Buddhist monk discovered it because of its vitality and energizing properties. Today, several kinds of study and studies have shown – that daily consumption of matcha green tea can help to improve focus , boost energy, unleash creativity, and relieve stress.

Consumption of matcha green tea can eliminate stress and anxiety as it contains less caffeine than coffee. In other words, when switching from coffee to matcha green tea, anxiety and stress may decrease or relieve as it possesses a low amount of caffeine. In addition, caffeine is slowly absorbed into the blood flow.

Today, various fruits and vegetables are praised for their high antioxidant properties and have led to the emergence of many products with all types of claims. However, the matcha stands apart in terms of any comparison with these products. In fact, matcha contains exponentially many Antioxidants that prevent chronic diseases and aging.           

One of the numerous benefits of matcha green tea is that it is good for the skin. From matcha tea, one can even create face masks that can be used in any way for beauty and skincare. The catechins contained in green tea trap and deactivate free radicals in the skin, delaying signs of aging. Applying matcha straight to the skin in the form of a mask is one of the best ways to deal with blemishes and acne.   

Some studies have shown that matcha can protect the liver along with antioxidants. A research was carried out on rats with type 2 diabetes, and in the results, it was found that matcha can protects both the kidneys and liver of rats. Still, more research is required to find out how this affects humans.

Matcha green tea is a tremendous source of selenium, magnesium, vitamin C, zinc, and chromium. The above minerals and vitamins play an important role in retaining a healthy lifestyle.

The existence of L-theanine in matcha green tea powder upsurges the making of chemicals in the brain that improves concentration & focus. With L-theanine, the brain produces more serotonin and dopamine. Dopamine and serotonin are two chemicals that are closely related to temperament and attentiveness.
