watermelon

When summer comes around, there's nothing like having
a sweet cold watermelon.
I thought about the days when I was a child.
Before my mom cuts watermelon in two, I used to guess
the color of inside, red or yellow.
It was so lucky if I had a yellow one,
I jumped with joy !!
It brings me back good old memories.

backache

I'm suffering from backache.
All parts of getting older, I guess.
It is not nice weather so the laundry doesn't dry outside and
I hang them inside. It really annoys me !!
My dog can sense it when I'm in bad mood.
She is staring at me the corner in the kitchen.

goldfish mobile

Goldfish is swaying in the breeze.
It' rainning outside. I wish it would cool down.
Sometime I just want to spend the whole day taking it easy, gazing at mobile or something.
A popular crane was already well-known but I wanted to fold something new but simple.
This is a goldfish adding a square frame made from another piece of paper attached
a thread to hang it up. I love mobiles and have some collections.

I cooked Sara Udon of Nagasaki which was my mother-in-law's home town.
She was good at cooking.
That was thirty years ago but I still remember it all as if it were yesterday.
She used to fry noodle until it comes golden brown apprearence.
No matter how tired she was, she cooked for us.
She was a great mother-in-law.
I missed her very much.

muggy/magy day

muggy day

It's not my special day.
I'm afraid I am a hot person.
It's remarkably muggy for the time of year.
I can't imagine spending the day without air conditioner.
It looks like it rained last night but still blazing hot outside.
Hana was completely worn out.
Look at this goofy picture of her tummy.
I miss a cool breeze !!!
