Chilly, Low Winds, Gloomy and Clear Views
A simple phenology run down of the days as follows:
The autumn leaves are in full color change. The view looking into the valleys which the streams and eruption created look stunning. The chingaruma is still going strong even after the blizzard while a few other berries also linger around waiting for the fox, squirrel, and osu bird to come and spread their seeds.
While taking a stroll or hike here, don't sleep on the value of the minerals beneath your feet, just take a look at these valuable contributors in the alpine ecosystem. They support soil and they redirect water. This is important not only for the plants you love (looking at you Chinguruma aka so the water has time and position to filter through the soil, and eventualy the springs which quenches the water needs of the entire town of Higashikawa and then some.
