Watermelon feta salad for summer- Easy summer salad --Foodiefriend 

Hi, Today shared the recipe of watermelon feta cheese salad which is very easy to make. Ditch these summers with this supersimple summer salad recipe. This salad you can even eat for your weight loss. 

1 cup=250 ml     1 tbsp=15ml    1 tsp=5ml
Prep time: 15 minutes           Mixing Time: 2 minutes   Refrigeration time: 1 hour   Serve: 4

Recipe:
For making Dressing for salad:
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Lemon juice (नींबू का रस) - 1/2 tbsp
Crushed Black pepper corns (काली मिर्च) - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste (नमक)

Other ingredients:
Watermelon cubes (तरबूज) - 3 cups
Chopped mint leaves (पुदीना) - 2 tbsp
Cucumber cut into small pieces (ककड़ी) - 1 small
Crumbled feta cheese - 100 gms. 

Recipe:
Mix all the ingredients listed under dressing in a bowl and keep aside.
Add watermelon , mint leaves , cucumber, crumbled feta cheese and add dressing.
Mix everything well.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Serve chilled.

Hi, today shared the recipe of dhaba style chicken curry which is very easy to make and will be definitely enjoyed by everyone. Made with minimal spices and no use of cashews and curd make this dish very easy to make at home.

1 cup=250 ml     1 tbsp=15ml    1 tsp=5ml
Prep time: 10 minutes      Marination time: 1 hour     Cooking Time: 35 minutes      Serve: 2
Recipe:
Marination:
Chicken (चिकन) – 500 gms.
Ginger-garlic paste (अदरक – लेसून) – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder (हल्दी) – ¼ tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च) – 1 tsp (if using normal chilli powder –take ½ tsp)
Salt (नमक) – 1 tsp
Lemon juice (नींबू रस) – 1 tbsp

Other ingredients:
Oil (तेल) – 3tbsp
Cumin seeds (जीरा) – 1 tsp
Bay leaf (तेज पत्ता) – 2
Black cardamom (बड़ी एलईची)  – 2
Cloves (लौंग)– 2
Black peppercorn (काली मिर्च)– 4
Cinnamon (दालचीनी)– 1 inch
Finely chopped onion (प्याज़)– 3 medium sized
Ginger – garlic paste (अदरक-लेसून)– 1 tsp
Turmeric powder (हल्दी)– ½ tsp
Red chilli powder (लाल मिर्च) – 1 tbsp
Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) – 1 tsp
Chickpea flour (बेसन) – 1 tbsp
Water (पानी) – ¼ cup + water to make gravy
Tomato puree of 1 large sized tomato or ½ cup (टमाटर की प्यूरी)
Marinated chicken 
Slit green chilli (हरी मिर्च) – 2
Salt to taste (नमक)
Garam masala (गरम मसाला) – ¼ tsp
Coriander leaves (हरी धनिया)

Recipe:
Mix all the ingredients listed under marination.
Marinate for 1 hour. No need to keep in refrigerator.
Now heat oil, add cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add bay leaf, black cardamom, cloves, peppercorn, cinnamon and finely chopped onions. Cook till onions become soft.
Add ginger – garlic paste. Cook till raw aroma goes. Add turmeric, red chilli and coriander powder and mix well.
Add chickpea flour. This will thicken the gravy. Mix well and add ¼ cup water. Cook till mixture leaves the pot. 
Add tomato puree and cook till oil leaves the pot.
Add marinated chicken and green chilli and cook for 10-12 mins. on low flame.
Add 1 cup water and cover and cook chicken for 15-20 mins. or till chicken cooked properly. 
Remove lid and add water to thin gravy if required. Again cook for 5-6 mins. 
Garnish with coriander leaves. Enjoy with naan, roti or rice.

Hi, today shared the recipe of banana toffee recipe which is very delicious and easy to make at home. Just few ingredients and make this delicious homemade easy dessert for your special days. Banana fritters or fried banana are made first by dipping cut banana into batter, then deep fried and then coated with caramalized sugar.

1 cup=250 ml     1 tbsp=15ml    1 tsp=5ml
Prep time: 10 minutes       Cooking Time: 20 minutes      Serve: 4
Recipe:
For Batter:
All-purpose flour (मैदा): 3 tbsp
Corn flour (मकई का आटा): 3 tbsp
Salt (नमक) – ¼ tsp
Baking powder: 1 tsp
Oil: 2 tsp
Water to make thick batter (around ½ cup)
For sugar syrup:
Sugar (चीनी) – 8 tbsp
Water (पानी) – ½ cup
Lemon juice (नींबू का रस) – 1 tsp
Bananas (केला) – 3
Oil for frying

Recipe:
All ingredients listed under batter to make thick batter.
Cut bananas into slices and coat each slice with batter using skewer or spoon.
Fry each coated banana in hot oil on medium flame. Fry till golden brown.
Now make the sugar syrup by cooking sugar with water. Add lemon juice once it turned transparent. This is to do proper caramalization. Cook till sugar caramelized.
Dip each fried banana slice into sugar syrup and coat well. Immediately dip in bowl full of ice and immediately take out the banana slice.
Reheat sugar syrup if turned solidify. Don’t cook sugar syrup much as it might lose its flavour.
Banana toffee is ready. Enjoy.

Many times you have eaten bread pakoda with potato stuffing but you might find it little cumbersome to make potato masala and then deep fry. So today I have bring bread pakora

without any stuffing so it is easy to make and is as flavouful as bread pakora with potato.

 

Prep time: 10 minutes       Cooking Time: 10 minutes      Serve : 4

Ingredients:

Bread – 7

For Batter:

Besan – 1 cup

Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp

Green chilli - 2

Rice flour – 1 tbsp

Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp

Red chilli powder – ½ tsp

Ajwain – 1 tsp

Hing – ¼ tsp

Baking soda- ¼ tsp

Salt to taste

Water as required to make batter

Amchur powder – ½ tbsp.

Oil for deep frying

 

Recipe:

Cut bread slices into half

Make thick batter using above ingredients listed under BATTER. Make sure batter shouldn’t be thin.

Dip each bread slice into batter and deep fry on medium flame.

DON’T FRY ON LOW/HIGH FLAME.

Serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney.

Today shared the recipe of Shahi egg masala curry. I am sure if you will try in your kitchen , will definetly liked the recipe. So ditch the old style anda curry and try this new one.
1 cup=250 ml   1 tbsp= 15 ml     1 tsp=5 ml
Ingredients:
For frying eggs:
Oil - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Eggs- 5

For Onion paste
Onion- 2 medium
Green chilli - 2
For Tomato paste
Tomatoes- 3 medium
Soaked cashews in hot water for 15 mins. - 10

For Recipe
Oil - 3 tbsp
Bay leaf- 1
Cinnamon - 1 inch
Blackpepper corns - 6
Cloves - 3
Green cardamom - 3
Onion paste 
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Toamto paste
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 3/4 tsp
Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
Water - 1.5 cups(or as required )
Salt to taste
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves
