Girls' Generation decorates the homepage of the prestigious Yale University in the United States

Girls' Generation, the leading Korean wave girl group, has graced the homepage of Yale University of the Arts.
On the 31st of last month, a video still cut of Girls' Generation's 2009 hit song "GEE" appeared on the background screen of Yale's homepage. Students, graduates, faculty and staff can freely edit the background screen of the Yale University of Art website. For this reason, it seems that a Girls' Generation fan who is affiliated with Yale University planned the website.
Meanwhile, Girls' Generation, who released their 3rd album 'The Boys' last month and topped various music charts, are currently active in both Korea and the US.
(From Entertainment News)
One of the characteristics of K-POP fans is their “power of action”. And it feels more permanent than temporary.
The Korean boy group "JYJ" held a solo concert at the Spanish architecture theme park "Pueblo Espanyol" square. It was the first time for a Korean artist.
It was a not-so-large concert with 3,000 people. However, the composition of the audience seems to have covered all of Europe, including Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, and Finland.
First of all, I was surprised that fans gathered from all over Europe for the 3,000-person concert. This phenomenon may have happened because the tickets were pre-ordered or sold out as soon as they went on sale, or because JYJ's fans had formed a strong network.
It is said that Italian fans pitched tents and lined up the day before the performance.
When interviewed, it seems that there were quite a few fans who have been familiar with K-POP for many years.
The enthusiasm that comes from far away to see the performance. There was also a girl who was in her mid-teens but had been a JYJ fan for five years.

Despite the K-POP boom, I don't think the density of the fan base in Europe and the United States is that high yet. However, it seems certain that dedicated and persistent fan bases are forming like strong stakes in various places.

Shortly after Girls' Generation debuted with "The Boys", a K-pop flash mob by New Yorkers occurred. Even though it was raining, they were dancing enthusiastically in their raincoats.
Girls' Generation appeared on the Yale University website.
Invited to Yale University for "GEE", they roam the streets of America with "The Boys".
