Girl of the Month (Loona) New Album Enters US Billboard 200

★ "Girl of the Month (Loona)" is the sixth K-POP female artist to enter the chart, following BoA, Girls' Generation, 2NE1, TWICE, and BlackPink. It is the first time for a girl group belonging to a small and medium-sized planning company to enter the chart, and it is attracting a lot of attention both at home and abroad. BoA and Girls' Generation are affiliated with SM, TWICE is affiliated with JYP, 2NE1 and BlackPink are affiliated with YG, and all of them are major agencies.

"Girl of the Month (Loona)" consists of 11 members. They are girls who lack the impression of being active in Korea. I've always thought it was a strategy for becoming a global girl. However, the image of his activities in South Korea and Japan is poor, and his presence is light even within himself.
The only songs I remember are "Butterfly", and I don't even know who the main vocalist and who is the center visual. In the first place, until now, no one knew the member names.

Unlike Japan's Oricon, the American "Billboard 200" has a background in which music from all over the world is competing for it. If it reaches the point where it appears in the ranking there, its name recognition may be rising in the United States.
This is because, even if K-POP's hometown of Korea and Japan is not very popular, if it appears on a global ranking site, it will likely have a considerable impact all over the world.

Why are the popular K-POP groups BTS and blackpink world stars? Their music has gained a certain amount of popularity in the United States, and has gained a route to amplify the popularity of the group and music while spreading the response there to the world.
"Girl of the Month (Loona)" is said to have become the sixth girl to enter the American "Billboard 200" following BoA, Girls' Generation, 2NE1, TWICE, and BlackPink.
In terms of being a small and weak office, it has something in common with BIGHIT's BTS. I wonder if the fact that I didn't stand out until now after my debut was due to the weakness of the office...
Rather than highlighting the individual characters of each member, they seem to be girls who compete with the image and concept of the overall performance.
Does this mean that the phenomenon of acceptance of that style of performance is also occurring in the United States...?
