Approaching World Tour Day (TWICE)
近づくワールドツアーの日(TWICE)
★ "TWICE" released their new album "Ready To Be" and title song "Set Me Free" at 2pm on the 10th. They made their first performance of the title song on NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on the same day.
The title song "Set Me Free" is a song that harmonizes a groovy bass line, a simple and powerful sound, and a cool and bold message. It was composed by Melanie Fontana, who worked on "I Can't Stop Me", "Cry For Me", and "Scientist", and Lindgren. The lyrics include the message "Let's break free from everything that holds me back and love freely to the fullest".
The members are currently in the US and are promoting the album.
TWICE will kick off their world tour on April 15th and 16th (Seoul).
After Seoul, they will perform in Sydney on May 3rd, followed by Melbourne on May 6th.
Then they will perform in Osaka on May 20th and 21st. A week later, they will perform in Tokyo on May 20th and 21st, with two performances each.
The US tour will begin in June.
As usual, they will start in Los Angeles on June 10th, followed by Oakland (June 13th), Seattle (June 16th), Dallas (June 21st), Houston (June 24th), Chicago (June 28th), Toronto (Canada -> July 2nd), New York (July 6th), and Atlanta (July 9th), for a total of 17 performances in 14 cities in five countries.
Performing every three days may be a blessing for fans who want to see TWICE perform in their hometowns as soon as possible. It means they can see TWICE on stage as soon as possible.
However, it may be a big deal for the band members themselves.
They may also be interviewed at additional performances and venues, and may even be asked to appear on local TV stations from time to time...
It's great to see TWICE travelling around the world, but I can't help but feel a tingling sensation in my heart when I see them pushing themselves so hard.
Did they accept this job because they thought, "It's better for everyone to get through it and then have a nice rest afterwards"? Because they have no other plans outside of work.
How nice it would be if there was a tour where we could see them relaxing (private) between work (performance ➡ idols and fans in the venue.
However, once they step out of the venue, they return to being people in the place they're traveling to. Time to enjoy private time together).
Just as the cities where TWICE perform are special for fans, I hope that TWICE will not only just pass through them, but that they will also leave special memories.
It is a bit worrying that TWICE will not be able to enjoy their private life much this time either.
