The stage of K-POP girls who are crying under the corona disaster

The stage of K-POP girls who are crying under the corona disaster
コロナ災禍下で涙ぐましいK-POPガールズのステージ

Which girl group won the most first place on Korean music shows in 2020? Who beat out TWICE, ITZY, and others to record an astonishing double-digit number of times...

★ First off, (G)I-DLE's "OH MY GOD," released in April, and IZ*ONE's "Flower Series" finale "FIESTA" both ranked 9th with four awards.

IZ*ONE's "Secret story of the swan" (7 awards), released in June, ranked 7th. They are the only girl group to have two works ranked.

★ Ranked in 3rd place are Red Velvet ("Psycho"), ITZY ("WANNABE"), OH MY Girl ("Nonstop"), and Apink ("Dumhdurum").

Although they fell just short of the nine awards won by TWICE's latest title song "MORE & MORE," each won eight awards.

★ BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" took the top spot. The song has won numerous music shows, achieving an amazing 12 awards. As of now, BLACKPINK is the only girl group to have won double digits in number one awards this year.

It's a shame that we can't go out due to the COVID-19 disaster, but the K-pop girls kept me entertained by playing great songs one after another while staying at home.

After reading this article and listening to the linked music and other content, I was reminded once again that the stage skills of K-pop girls have improved dramatically.

Following BLACKPINK's "How You Like That," TWICE also put on a great performance with "MORE & MORE."

It would not have been surprising if they had gone out into the world, but it was unfortunate that the threat of the new coronavirus has spread around the world.

However, it is probably great that they have been able to open up new horizons through their music activities through social media.

BTS has already achieved great results through social media.

BTS and BLACKPINK, who rose to the world stage before the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the world, will undoubtedly hold an advantage in their future activities on social media.

However, social media will likely require more planning ability for the entire stage, in addition to the power of a live performance.

In other words, just because they have an advantage, there is no guarantee that BTS and BLACKPINK will continue to lead the way.

I watched (G)I-DLE's "OH MY GOD," IZ*ONE's "Secret story of the swan," Red Velvet ("Psycho"), ITZY ("WANNABE"), OH MY Girl ("Nonstop"), Apink ("Dumhdurum"), and others, and the music of the frontline girls is as expected, amazing.

Apink's ("Dumhdurum") stage is always soothing. As I watched them in order, I felt the power of ITZY's (WANNABE) stage.

It seems that these girls have risen to become a world-class girls group without me having seen them much.

Even so, watching this much is time-consuming.

It's far better than the boring footage on TV, so I don't feel like I've wasted anything.

But critics who no longer go to the music (even through videos) venues end up writing only boring articles.

I feel that I shouldn't stop going to watch them.
