Solji, a member of Korean girl group EXID, who had suspended activities due to hyperthyroidism (Graves' disease), has declared that she will resume activities.

On the 6th, Solji published a handwritten message through EXID's official SNS. In the message, Solji said, "I feel very sorry that I surprised many people by getting sick for the first time and having to suspend activities without promises," and "I was very surprised myself and it was a difficult time. I feel like I'm causing trouble for the members and fans..." she revealed her feelings.

She also said, "But I'm very grateful to the fans who supported me every time. I was really grateful to them for the words, 'I'll wait forever, so please come back healthy.' Those words really gave me strength, and although it took a long time, I'm finally able to come back to you all."

Solji vowed to "repay the fans who have been waiting for me with great music," and promised, "Thank you for being with me through such a difficult time in my life. I'll never forget it. Solji was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (Graves' disease) in December 2016, and suspended her activities to focus on treatment. After being diagnosed by a doctor as being fully cured, she plans to resume her activities with her Japanese debut album, which will be released on the 22nd.

During Solji's absence, EXID continued to work steadily and maintained their popularity.

I personally preferred EXID with Solji's singing voice.

Hyelin covered Solji's parts but it wasn't enough.

The loneliness of Solji's absence couldn't be wiped away.

It is only with Solji and Hyelin's singing voice that the rap line is balanced. It could be said that this is why I have drifted away from EXID's music a little.
