来日記念日までちょうど1ヶ月となりました。おそらくマスコミも少しは騒ぐようになるでしょうね。元ヒルトン東京のキャピトル東急でもイベントが行われるようです。そういう私も7月1日には宿泊しようと思っています。今年でホテルが取り壊しになるそうですので．．．。

LET IT BE～レット・イット・ビーPARTII～(2018)」より
ザ・ビートルズの歴史を体感できる再現コンサート、「LET IT BE ～レット・イット・ビー～」の日本ツアーが9月27日（金）より全国13都市にて開催される。
これは2012年にビートルズのデビュー50周年を記念して作成されたトリビュート・ライブショーで、ロンドン初演以降、世界中で100万人以上を動員。2014年、2015年、2018年に続き4回目の来日となる。チケットは
2019(令和元)年06月01日(日) 10時より各プレイガイドにて一般販売が開始される予定だ。

†Esher, Surrey, May 1968 The precise date is unknown, but towards the end of May 1968 The Beatles met at Kinfauns, George Harrison's bungalow in Esher, Surrey. There they recorded demo versions of a number of songs written in India, 19 of which later appeared on the White Album. The 27 songs believed to have been taped at Kinfauns were recorded on Harrison's Ampex four-track reel-to-reel tape recorder. They were mostly grouped together by the composer of each song, although John Lennon's songs were more scattered across the day. It is possible that not all of the demos were recorded at Kinfauns, and it has been speculated that some were recorded alone by the songs' composers. Alternatively, previously-made recordings may have been brought to Harrison's house for overdubbing, but, again, this is far from clear.

He was so good that The Beatles, who had just hit the big time and had been moved to top of the bill, could not get on stage because the audience was shouting for encores of Running Scared.

1961(昭和36)年05月29日(月) 2度の契約更新の後、2度目のハンブルグ巡業が4月1日より7月1日まで行われ、92日間、のべ503時間トップ・テン・クラブのステージに立つ。前回の最初のハンブルグ巡業と並んで、ビートルズのスタミナと実力を飛躍的に向上させた有意義な巡業となった。
1962(昭和37)年05月29日(火) 3度目のハンブルグ巡業。出演場所はオープンしたばかりのロック専門「スター・クラブ」。1時間演奏して1時間休憩というローテーションで3～4時間演奏した。今回は7週間の巡業で、そのうち2週間はジーン・ビンセントが競演した。
1963(昭和38)年05月29日(水) ヨークのリアルト・シアターでロイ・オービソンとのパッケージ・ツアー10日目。ロイを差し置いてメインアクターになったビートルズ。ジョージは「どうすりゃいいんだ、ロイの後に出るのかよ、って真剣に悩んだよ。」と後に語っている。
