わたくしは今年の目標を達成いたしました。
富士山登頂。初めての挑戦でした。
I achieved my objective for this year.
Climbed Mt.Fuji. My first challenge.
8月15-16日の予定でしたが、台風の影響で1日延期となり、16-17日となりました。
やはり同じく台風の影響でしょう、山小屋の予約がすんなり取れたのです。
This challenge was scheduled for August 15-16.
However, it was postponed one day due to a typhoon, the schedule was changed to August 16-17.
It was easy to make reservations at the moutain hut.
結論から申し上げますと、登って一片の後悔もなく、すべてがうまく事が進んで、とにかく感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。もし、また機会があれば、違うルートで挑戦したいと思っております( ｰ̀ωｰ́ )
Conclusion. Everything was great.
I would challenge again with a different route if I had the chance.
16日、17日ともに、天気予報では曇り時々雨でした。しかも、局地的な大雨で富士スバルラインは一時通行止め。登山開始時間が大幅に遅れる、もしや中止……なんてことも頭に過りました。
しかし、ここでまたも晴れ女パワーを発揮してしまったのです。
The weather forecast is cloudy and sometimes rainy on the 16th and 17th.
Moreover, Fuji Subaru Line was temporarily closed due to localized heavy rain.
We thought the start time would be late or the plan itself will be canceled.
Don't worry. I'm sunmaker. It's always sunny when I travel.
雲海と山中湖と虹。
Sea of clouds, Lake Yamanaka and rainbows.
6合目〜7合目あたりは時々雨に降られましたが、8合目以降は夕陽が綺麗で夜になれば星空が一面に広がって手に届きそうでした。
The 6th to 7th station, it rained from time to time.
It is sunny after the 8th station.
The sunset was beautiful. At night, there was a starry sky.
流れ星、北斗七星、そしてゆっくり動く人工衛星も観測できました。
We observed shooting stars, the Big Dipper, and satellites.
予約した山小屋は本八合目にあり、富士スバルラインの一時通行止めで足止めも貰ったので、到着時間は20時を超えてしまいました。
天を、星天を仰ぎながら、辿り着いたもの。
The reserved hut is located at the 8th station.
We were late due to a temporary road closure on the Fuji Subaru Line.
Arrived at 20:00.
カレーとハンバーグ！上のお弁当は翌日の朝食です。
明らかにインスタント物です。ですが、これが……冗談抜きに、人生で最高に美味しかった食べ物だと断言します。
Dinner was curry rice and Hamburg steak.
The above pack is tomorrow's breakfast. This dinner is clearl boil-in-the-bag.
But this one was the best of the best. It was the best food of my life‼
午前2時に山小屋を出発。いざ山頂アタック。
またまたこれも台風の影響でしょうか。
想像していたよりも人が多くない。渋滞で御来光に間に合わなそう、というのが普通だと聞いていたのに。
Let’s go to the summit‼ We leaved at 2 am.
This was also due to the typhoon. There were fewer people than expected.
Normally, I hear, they would not make it in time for the rising sun.

We can collect memorial branding on the walking stick we bought.
山頂で飲んだ豚汁。
The pork miso soup in summit.
これを見る為に、人々は富士山を登るのです。
People climb Mt.Fuji to see the rising sun.
下山開始以降。
Started descending.
まさに、「日本で最も高い場所にある神社」で御朱印も頂きました。踏破した者しか手に出来ない証です。
I get the led ink stamp in Kusushi shrine. The highest shrine in Land of rising sun.
It is something special that can be obtained by those who have overcome various difficulties.
帰宅。
I arrived home.
総評
Summary.
上りは難なく。無心で1歩踏み出せば、いつの間にか頂上が近くなるものです。そして、高山病の気配も一切なかった。更には天まで味方につけることができました。
We‘ve been lucky with the weather. No accident, No mountain sickness.
All was well on the climb up.
ただ。下りがちょーっと、しんどかったです。
登山靴をきつく締めて足首を固定しても、つま先が少し当たって痛かったです。
下山道は砂状になっているのでよく滑ります。1歩1歩気を使わなければならないという精神的負担もありました。
Um...the descent was a bit hard.
I tightened my climbing shoes but toes were sore.
The descents trail is slippery.
There is a risk of slipping and falling. It is the mental stress.
ところが、ここで台風の爪痕が味方してくれました。地層の奥まで雨水が浸透していてくれたため、砂埃が立たずに視界は極めて良好でした。普通は目を保護するサングラスやゴーグルがないと辛いと聞きました。
However, the typhoon had a positive outcome here.
Rainwater penetrated deep into the ground. There was no dust and visibility was extremely good.
I was heard that usually sunglasses or goggles are required.
It is foolish to take on the challenge unprepared.
Do not underestimate the sacred mountain.
山頂でのお鉢巡りは、同行者の体調が悪くなった為断念。しかし、みな揃って登頂出来たのですから何も言うことはございません。
My travel companion got altitude sickness. The Ohachimeguri was cancelled.
But we all made it to the summit.
