Temple " Dairyuji Temple " ( 大龍寺）in Gifu City,Gifu Prefecture.Japan./ Place:The Dairyuji Temple is located to the noth of Mount Dodogamine./ The Dairyji Temple ,known as " Daruma Kannon ",enshrines a sitting daruma daish statue of approx 5m. There is a custom of painting the right eye omto the daruma with wish,and if the wish comes true painting the left eye too.At this temple,a " Daruma Kuyo " is held in middle of January every year,in which people give thanks and burn the two eyed daruma dolls that made their wishes come true. A fire of green bamboo,called the " Fukutake",is lit as the spectators watch,and the daruma dolls are thrown into the rising flames..../ Date:2022.1.16.10:40am~11:00am./
