Donald Trump suggested the US would not protect Nato allies not spending enough on defence at a rally last week.
Nato chief , Stoltenberg immediately responded to Trump's remarks. He said, “Donald Trump comments undermine all of our security.”
Almost people around world criticized Trump's comments were appalling and dangerous. Of course, those criticisms are right. However I read the interest the article Guardian columnist, John Crace ,wrote.
Crace said, Trump is indeed unhinged, but he has a point. Western countries have troubles enough at home. It is not their job to intervene border disputes or internal conflicts. If they want to play a role on the world stage, they should pay for it themselves. Trump’s scepticism is justified. Europe must give a convincing answer.
I guess, Trump's radical remarks suggest a fundamental problem. The world need a military force for peace, not endless war. Some way out must be founded.
