After the shopping of my husband's new reading glasses I suddenly
remembered Shirasu Jiro & Masako's exhibition at Odakyu department store was
noticed by Kei's blog.
It was a good chance to view the Shirasu world. Jiro was not only a cool-looking guy
with a pair of Levis and white T-shirt but also an important person to decide
a course of Japan after the war as an adviser with Yoshida Shigeru.
He won my heart as the following speech;
" Although we are defeated in war, we didn't become slaves. "
On the other hand his wife Masako was nobly born and writing activities of antique collections.
Maybe it's true that a woman is only as good as her man.
I admired her sophisticated personality.
At the end let me introduce Jiro's picture with love letter to Masako.
" You are the fountain of my inspiration and the climax of my ideals. "
Calligraphy is beautiful !!
