Tiles on Trend

It’s said that you can never be too rich or too thin, and when it comes to tile, that definitely seems to be the case. Ever-thinner profiles, rich metallic looks and elegant patterns are all the rage right now in tile, with larger slabs trending and a wide array of designs in demand, from marble looks and floral designs to a touch of industrial flair.
Color is also seeing resurgence, with classic whites being joined by shades of blue, deep violet, charcoal, wood looks, as well as gold, copper and silver.
Below are some of the hottest trends in tile right now.
--The latest trends from Europe point to larger tiles that allow for a cleaner, more seamless look, with 16”x32” a common Wall Ceramic Tile size in the U.S. and 32” square most commonly used for floor tile. Additionally, improved production technology has led to the creation of giant Rustic Porcelain Tile slabs that can be used for shower walls, islands and other large surface areas.
--Tile is getting thinner, with some of the newest offerings boasting surface strength with a much lighter, airier profile.
--Wallpaper and fabric designs are inspiring tile, with looks ranging from retro patterns and murals to florals and interesting geometrics. Rich marble looks are also very much in vogue.
--Classic white, soft gray and deeper shades like charcoal are hot right now, but color is also coming back, with blues, greens and violets seeing increased interest as well.
--Metallics are impacting tile designs, adding brightness and glitter in shades of gold, copper, silver and rose gold. Glass tile is also hot for its ability to add a feeling of lightness and sparkle to a space.
--A funky industrial/Steampunk look is garnering interest in some quarters, with oxidized finishes and gray metallics that feature machine-inspired patterns coming into play.

Tianjin Anson International Co., Ltd steel tubes for transportation of flammable fluids are produced by hot rolling. The semi-finished product used for these tubes is continuously cast bloom. This group of tubes is mainly set for high pressure gas pipeline to deliver gases, oil and other flammable fluids in the mining, chemical and energy industry. Line pipes are made from carbon and alloyed steel. Overview of the dimensional standards and technical-delivery conditions by which line pipes are manufactured and supplied is shown in a separate overview.

Line pipe - dimensions
The outside diameter of the tubes for transportation of flammable fluids ranges from 0.405 to 4.5 inches (10.3 to 114.30 mm), wall thickness from 0.068 to 0.531 inches (1.7 to 13.5 mm). More detailed dimensions are shown in tables and they are according to the EN standards and API standards. Preferably the tubes are supplied as hot rolled. Dimensions 0.405 inches, 0.540 inches, 0.675 inches and they are supplied as cold drawn

Line pipe - types of steel.
Tubes for transportation of flammable fluids are made of the following steels, according to EN 10208-1: L210GA, L235GA, L245GA, L290GA, L360GA, according to EN 10208-2: L245NB, L290NB, L360NB, L415NB and according to API 5L: Grade A, Grade B, Grade X42, Grade X46, Grade X52, Grade X60. Additional types of steel (according to DIN 2470-1/1629 and 2470-2/17172 and UNI 7088) together with its chemicals composition and mechanical properties are shown in a separate overview. Steel is made in the electric arc furnace and it is fully killed.

Line pipe - delivery condition and surface
Usually the tubes are supplied as hot rolled. Only tubes with DN 6 -10, perhaps tubes of other dimensions are supplied as cold drawn and after forming they are heat treated. This is done as per precious agreement. The tube surface meets corresponds to the means of manufacturing.
