 Run Come See Jerusalemは、 1929年に発生した大西洋のﾊﾞﾊﾏのﾊﾘｹｰﾝ（ Great Andros Island Hurricaneとも呼ばれる）について歌っています。それはﾘｹｰﾝ・ｼｰｽﾞﾝ中、2番目のﾊﾘｹｰﾝであり、唯一､超大型ﾊﾘｹｰﾝでした。多くの船舶はそれに気づかずに港を出航に遭難しました。  Blind Blake(ﾌﾞﾗｲﾝﾄﾞ・ﾌﾞﾚｲｸ/Blake Alphonso Higgs)の作詞：作曲で彼はﾅｯｿｰのﾛｲﾔﾙﾋﾞｸﾄﾘｱﾎﾃﾙに拠点を置いていました。ﾊﾞﾝｼﾞｮｰを演奏し、そこで4枚のｱﾙﾊﾞﾑをﾘﾘｰｽしました。1951年のｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”A Group Of Bahamian Songs”に曲を収録しています。 1950-60年のﾌｫｰｸ･ﾘﾊﾞｲﾊﾞﾙで多くのﾐｭｰｼﾞｼｬﾝがｶﾊﾞｰしています。196２年には､The Brothers Four がｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”In Person”､The Phoenix Singersがｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”The Phoenix Singers”に1963年には､The Weaversがｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”Weavers At Carnegie Hall, Vol. 2”､The Travelers3がｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”Live!Live!Live!”、The Seekersがｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”Introducing The Seekers”に曲を収録しています。
