Trudeau severely criticized Meta

I read interesting article about Meta on REUTER this morning.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday criticized Meta for blocking domestic news from its platforms.

Trudeau said  the Facebook-parent was prioritizing profit over safety,

as devastating wildfires force tens of thousands to evacuate their homes.

Because Meta started blocking news on its Facebook and Instagram platforms for all users in Canada  in response to the new law.

The law requires Meta to pay for news articles.

As a result, some people complained to domestic media that the ban prevented them from sharing important data about the fires.

Trudeau told,

Facebook is putting corporate profits ahead of people’s safety, Meta’s actions were  unthinkable.

Reading this article,I think 

what a senseless leader Mark Zuckerberg is.

Elon Musk ‘s  SpaceX has continued to fund its Starlink internet service in Ukraine.
