Of the 40 pillars of the main bridge, 40 are in the river and 2 pillars are located on both sides of the river. A total of 240 piles have been made in 6 out of 40 pillars inside the river. Besides, there are 12 piles on both sides of the connecting bridge, totaling 24 piles. The color of Padma Bridge will be golden as golden color absorbs less heat from the sun. The main bridge work was completed by China Major Bridge Engineering Company Limited. New momentum will come in business.
