The flag of Bahrain is the national flag of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The flag consists of two colors, white and red, separated by five triangles.

The red color found in the flags of some other Arab Gulf countries is said to refer to battles, while the white color represents peace as is customary. The five triangles represent the number of the five pillars of Islam.

The oldest flag created to represent Al Khalifa was only red in color. In the nineteenth century, the flag was divided into red and white, but without triangles. Then he separated the two colors with eight triangles, which is said to refer to the battles that took place between Bahrain and neighboring countries, or to distinguish it from other countries that had flags similar to it. On February 17, 2002, the number of triangles was changed to five, which represents the five pillars of Islam.

Metrorail is a fast rail transport system in the world of communication. It was first launched in London in 1863. In January 2013, the Dhaka Metrorail was planned to be built in Dhaka through the signing of a loan agreement between the Government of Bangladesh and JICA. On June 26, 2016, the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the construction of Dhaka Metro Rail. And the total cost of this project was estimated at 21 thousand 985 crores. But later it was increased to 33 thousand 472 crores. The present number of stations of this metro rail is 9 but its planned number of stations is 112.

Its head office is located in Dhaka. The management company of Dhaka Metro Rail is Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the first phase of MRT-6 of Dhaka Metrorail on 28th December 2022 in a grand atmosphere and fulfilled the cherished dream of the people of Dhaka. And from 29th December it was opened to public. As a result of the construction of Dhaka Metrorail, on the one hand, the extreme suffering of the people of Dhaka will be reduced in terms of communication , and on the other hand, the economy of Bangladesh will develop greatly. In fact , Dhaka Metrorail like Padma Bridge will go a long way in reducing the suffering of the people of Bangladesh in terms of travel and communication.

বাংলাদেশের মেগা প্রকল্প গুলোর মধ্যে বর্তমানে চলমান রয়েছে মেট্রোরেল । যার বাস্তবায়ন বদলে দিবে মেগা সিটি ঢাকার চেহারা । রাজধানী ঢাকাকে যানজট মুক্ত করতে এই মেগা প্রকল্প হাতে নিয়েছে সরকার । এই রেল ব্যবস্থাটি শুধু মাত্র রাজধানী ঢাকার জন্যে নির্মাণ করা হচ্ছে। এর প্রথম ধাপ নির্মাণ হচ্ছে উত্তরা-মতিঝিল রুটে।

ঢাকা মেট্রোরেল প্রকল্পকে বলা হয় ম্যাস র্যা পিড ট্রানজিট। সংক্ষেপে একে MRT বলা হয় । এই প্রকল্পটি হাতে নেয়া হয় ২০১৩ সালে । যার উদ্দেশ্য ছিলো রাজধানীর অতিমাত্রার যানজট কমিয়ে আনা। মোট ২০.১ কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ ৬টি লাইন কে নির্বাচন করা হয়। পরবর্তীতে ২০১৬ সালের ২৬ জুন উদ্বোধন করা হয় ঢাকা মেট্রোরেল প্রকল্পের নির্মাণ কাজ।

এটি উত্তর-মতিঝিলে অবস্থিত বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক অব্দি বিদ্যমান। এই পথ পাড়ি দিতে এখন থেকে ঢাকা বাসীর প্রয়োজন হবে মাত্র ৩৫ মিনিট। এই রুটের ১৫টি স্টেশন থাকবে। মেট্রোরেল এর অন্যতম সুবিধা এতে যানজট থাকবে না। শীতাতপ নিয়ন্ত্রিত কামরা সহ প্রতি ট্রেনে থাকবে মোট ৬টি বগি। মোট ১৬ টি স্টেশন থাকবে যার মাধ্যমে যাত্রী আনা নেয়াতে সুবিধা হবে । এই স্টেশন গুলো হলো-উত্তরা দক্ষিণ, উত্তরা সেন্টার, পল্লবী, আইএমটি, মিরপুর-১০, ফার্মগেট, তালতলা, কাজীপাড়া, আগারগাঁও, বিজয় সরণি, সোনারগাঁও, জাতীয় স্টেডিয়াম, জাতীয় জাদুঘর, দোয়েল চত্বর, বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক।

উত্তরা হতে মতিঝিল রুটে চলবে ১৪ টি ট্রেন। প্রতি ট্রেনে ৯৪২ জন করে ও ৭৫৪ জন করে দাঁড়িয়ে যাত্রী যাতায়াতের সুবিধা রয়েছে। এই ট্রেন গুলো প্রতি ৪০ মিনিট পর পর ছাড়বে। এগুলোর গতি হবে ঘন্টার ৩২ কিলোমিটার। শুরু থেকে শেষ গন্তব্যে যেতে খরচ হবে মাত্র ৩৫ মিনিট। প্রতি স্টেশনে ৪০ সেকেন্ড করে ট্রেন থামবে। এই ট্রেনে স্বয়ংক্রিয় কার্ডের মাধ্যমে ভাড়া পরিশোধ করা যাবে ।

পুরো প্রকল্প বাস্তবায়নে মোট খরচ হবে ২১ হাজার ৯৮৫ কোটি ৫৯ লাখ টাকা। যার মধ্যে ৭৫% জাইকা দিবে বাকিটুকু বাংলাদেশ সরকার।

এটি নির্মাণের ফলে রাজধানীর ব্যবসা বাণিজ্য গতিশীল হবে। কেনোনা বর্তমানে যানজটের কারণে সঠিক সময়ে গন্তব্যে পৌঁছানো যায় না। তাই মেট্রোরেলের গুরুত্ব অপরিসীম।
