I was introduced Murin - an by my friend who is visiting Kyoto from France today.
Have you gone there? If not, you MUST!
Once you stepped into this garden, whole utopia is in front of you.
It took me a while to walk into a central part of the garden because I sensed something very unusual makes me feel I am a stranger in it. It was quite shocking sensation. I experienced I lost my right to breath freely in that atmosphere.
We jsut sat down for a while observing what we are seeing.
then,
I started to think about how hard the situation we are hacing right now as Japanese since March 11th and after that thought, that thought made me think when Aritomo Yamagata were alive, they might have facing big problem and struggle as well as we are having right now.
If he needed to create such a place gives people extreme calmness, there were so much issues he needed to solve back then,too. They must have had to build such a garden to refresh themselves for important desicion Japanese had to make.
we really appreciated there is still a garden like this in this world.
Of course, including myself we must notice how ignorant Japanese are about this beautiful treasure we have.
What we would like to carry on to the next generation from this beautiful country JAPAN?
What do I know about this country....
