久しぶりに”RAINBOW”を視聴する

Girl group RAINBOW, who made a comeback with their new song "Whoo", released a pictorial of seven members in seven different colors.

RAINBOW attracted attention by exuding the extreme charms of cuteness and sexiness with the concept of retro casual look and glam look in the pictorial shoot jointly planned by digital magazine "FIGARO KOREA" and eNEWS24.

In this pictorial shoot, which took place at the lounge bar KUANXI in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, RAINBOW attracted attention by showing fantastic teamwork.

In particular, the pictorial staff were surprised by the warm and fuzzy atmosphere on set, where the RAINBOW members were considerate of each other and made concessions by coordinating each other's clothes and finding items that looked good on each other.

You can see RAINBOW's pictorials, behind-the-scenes shots, and video interviews on FIGARO KOREA, the eNEWS24 homepage and Facebook page, and Naver TV CAST's eNews Three Meals.

Meanwhile, RAINBOW has been busy since releasing the title track "Whoo" from their fourth mini-album "PRISM" on the 15th.

(From K-POP News)

Listen to RAINBOW's music, including "Whoo," on YouTube.

I don't know... I thought the same thing before, but while each member of RAINBOW is cute individually, as a group they don't create much excitement.

I don't want to say they have a lot of members, but I get the impression that they don't fully express their individual personalities.

This wasn't the case with their big sister group, KARA.

When all five members were together, they were twice as glamorous.

Each member played their role well and expanded their presence.

That's why they became so popular.

Perhaps RAINBOW's members lack individuality.

Their weakness is that they don't have any particular characteristics in terms of singing, dancing, looks, etc.

And now they've made a comeback after a long time.

They always give off a low-key impression, so perhaps the "seven members, seven colors" style suits them well to reinforce that.

With this in mind, I went to YouTube. I watched their performances from "Whoo" onwards.

However, I did not see any of the seven members' seven colors on stage.

Perhaps they feel that they can't be too flashy at their age.

It's better to worry about what the fans think, but not what the public thinks.

Isn't that the freedom and joy of music?

As long as it's not so bad that they turn a blind eye, fans are looking forward to a surprising stage performance.

It's fine to have makeup and fashion that you wouldn't want to wear down the street.

Now, onto the stage.

What kind of concept is this black pants outfit with a belly-baring look?

It's original, but it seems to miss the mark.

I thought their previous "Black Swan" stage was good.

But it didn't show off RAINBOW's strengths and cuteness, and it ended up being a bit disappointing.

Once you get your hands on black, it's not easy to get away from it.

No matter what color concept they go back to, the black image will surely follow RAINBOW.

Black is an easy color and image to handle for dry girls who do girl crushes, but it would be wise for budding girls to avoid it as much as possible.

As far as I know, there are only a few girl groups that have handled black with ease, and instead made the most of it.

Maybe RAINBOW just wasn't ready for it yet.

By the way, is DSP really serious about selling this group?

If they are serious about selling them, I can only say that they are using this group in the wrong way.
