Girl group lifeline (T-ARA)
ガールズグループの生命線(T-ARA)
"T-ARA" Hyomin to star in Japanese movie
Hyomin of the Korean girl group T-ARA will star in the Japanese movie ``Jinx!!!'', her agency Core Contents Media announced on the 7th.
"Jinx!!!" is a new work from director Naoto Kumazawa, who is famous for such films as "Kimi ni Todoke," "Rainbow Goddess," and "Tokyo Noir." The film is based on the director's love story.
Hyomin will play the role of Jiho, a Korean student, and will co-star with Japanese actresses Kurumi Shimizu and Kento Yamazaki.
Hyomin said, ``I'm nervous because I'm the first Korean female singer to star in a Japanese movie,'' and added, ``I love 'Delivery to You,' and I'm honored to be working with director Kumazawa. I will do my best to earn recognition,'' he said.
"Jinx!!!" is scheduled to be released in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other Asian countries this fall. The shooting will begin in the middle of this month.

Hyomin will star in a Japanese movie. It's gratifying in many ways.
Ever since the Hwayoung incident, she hasn't been ``reprimanding the fans'', but I have felt that T-ARA has lost a bit of individuality lately (I think I should have been more careful). (Maybe it was because I didn't watch the video.)
"T-ARA" was criticized quite a lot because of that uproar. However, with the support of their loyal fans, it seems that the enthusiasm at their concert venues remains unchanged.
However, when I was with Hwayoung, I thought that each of us had sparks of individuality, but lately I feel like everyone has become quieter and quieter.
Of course it's good for the members to show their closeness on stage, but that's not enough. Self-assertion is also a must. A good stage cannot be created unless we get along well, but at the same time we assert ourselves and have conflicts with each other.
The ``Girls' Generation'' stage is a good example. When they appear on stage, they are engaged in a serious battle with each other. Age doesn't matter either. During the performance, Seohyun's hand was violently hitting Jessica's arm.
I can't help but feel that the "T-ARA" stage is lacking in that aspect. I feel like Areum and others still can't move freely (maybe their dancing skills are inferior?).
I think it's about time for each member's strong performance to come to the forefront again, rather than just being a harmonious individuality.
Being on stage in front of fans is not just a place to pretend to be friends. It is a place where each other's talents collide and sparkle. This is the lifeline of a girl group's stage.
