I believe that language certainly involves a certain world view.
The essence of the world view , sometimes, seems difficult to translate into other language which also is equipped with a particular perspective.
Every essence within each language should be treated equally, but today's world seems to have a fixed language hierarchy where English is at top and other languages follows according to the economic merit they have. One language is valued more than another. This could have some significant impact on non-native English speakers who have their own culture, history, value and language, leading them to put heavier emphasis on English, dominant system and philosophy and to underestimate or undermine their first language/culture/value/idenity. . . .
