さて、お隣のまち、加須市では、加須市民が安全・安心な平和な未来の暮らしを願い、平和のありがたさに感謝する「加須市民平和祭」を５月３日（予備日５月４日）に開催されます。

この平和祭の目玉は、なんと言っても加須青年会議所の協力のもと大空を遊泳するジャンボ鯉のぼり。なんと大きさは全長100メートル、重さ約330キログラム、目玉と口の大きさは直径10メートルあります。
