Now, a fireworks display will be held in our neighboring city, Konosu City.

October 7, 2023 (Saturday) (postponed to October 8 (Sunday) in case of inclement weather) 6:00 p.m.

Number of shots: approx. 20,000 shots (scheduled)

Venue: Nukata Sports Ground and Arakawa riverside, 1073-1 Nukata, Konosu City, Saitama Prefecture

The "Konosu City Chamber of Commerce and Industry Young Men's Club," consisting of local shopkeepers and business owners as well as young people who will become business owners in the future, will volunteer to host this fireworks display in the hope of promoting local commerce and industry and giving dreams and hopes to children.

The event is not led by the government, but is a 100% handmade fireworks display that is unique in Japan, with about 40 members of the youth club handling everything from planning and operation to cleaning up after the event.

The event has now become a citizen-participatory fireworks display that attracts many volunteer staff members, including children and groups from all over the city.

It takes about 1 hour from Hotel Kuki to Konosu Station by train and 30 minutes on foot. It takes about 50 minutes by car. Please refer to the link below. Many people from outside of the prefecture come to see the festival. The highlight of the festival is the fireworks display of a four-foot-tall ball. The sound reaches as far as Hotel Kuki! 東武動物公園ではこのシルバーウィーク前半でオータムナイトZOO in 東武動物公園が開催されます

2023年9月16日(土)・17日(日)・18日(月･祝)

開催時間9：30～20：00（最終入園は19：00）

『オータムナイトZOO』では、普段は見ることができない夜の動物たちの姿を観察できるほか、動物たちへのエサやり体験『アニマルディナー』や、飼育係による動物解説『アニマルナイトガイド』を開催します。さらに、”食欲の秋“にちなみ、9月の3連休には『ビア＆グルメガーデン』と題した食イベントを開催します。会場内には生ビールやサワー、多彩なフードを販売するキッチンカーを出店しますので、心ゆくまでご堪能くださいとの事です。

Autumn Night ZOO in Tobu Zoo will be held in Tobu Zoo during the first half of this Silver Week!

September 16 (Sat.), 17 (Sun.) and 18 (Mon.), 2023 (national holiday)

 Hours: 9:30 - 20:00 (last admission at 19:00)

At "Autumn Night ZOO," visitors will be able to observe animals at night, which is normally not possible, and experience feeding the animals at "Animal Dinner" and "Animal Night Guide," in which zookeepers will provide explanations about the animals. In addition, a food event titled "Beer & Gourmet Garden" will be held on three consecutive weekends in September to celebrate the "autumn of appetite. Draft beer, sours, and a variety of food will be sold in kitchen carts, and visitors are invited to enjoy them to their heart's content.

The first half of the week is almost fully booked, but there is still room for the second half. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Also, there is still some room left for the plan that includes admission tickets to Tobu Zoo and rides. Please consider this plan as well.
