Fokkowing the Battles of Sekigahara,the victorious Tokugawa Ieyasu awarded Gifu Castle to his son-in law,Okudaira Nobumasa.However ,due to it's poor state of repair, Nobumasa decided to abolish Gifu Castle built on the site of the Old Kano Castle.../
