Kurobe Dama ( 黒部ダム）in Kurobe.Tateyama Prefecture,Japan./Kurobe Dam is 2186m ( 610 ft ) high rariable-radius arch dam on the Kurobe Riber in Toyama Prefecture. The Tallest dam in Japan,it supports the 335MW kurobe no4 Hydropower plant and is owened byby Kansai Electric Company. It was constructed between 1956 and 1963 at a cost of 51,3 billion yen.The project was a dfficult engineering feat for rapidly growing post-World War 11 Japan,and claimed the lives 171people.../ Date:2022.8.12.~/
