"A little bit of Heaven " is the original title. It is the story about a woman who out of the blue found herself very sick and about to die. She made the rest of her life get close to her ideal. I liked Kate Hadson's big smile showing throughout the movie. ...and Woopi Goldberg! My God should also appear as Woopi-looking too!

This story is also about a resistance against Nazi but in Holland. A Jewish woman who deceived by a Nazi officer and because of him lost all of her family determined to avenge. She joined the resistance and became a spy. Some foreshadowings were pretty obvious but all in all the story was two thumbs-up.

Ben Affleck directed and starred.

This story took place in Germany during World War 2. Sophie Scholl, the main roll was a university student who worked as an Anti-Nazi resitant with her brother Hanz. She was accused and received a death sentence. This is the story about the last 6 days of her life.
Because of my husband Yoshi and my Spanish class teacher, I happen to have chances to know political issues recently. Politicians are having endress discussion all the time and seemingly it will get nowhere. I thought it is just waste of time but, maybe I should be appreciate the freedom of speech.
I mean, no in Japan who will accept death for your own ideology to believe in? I imagine the feeling of Sophie on the guillotine.

I have known the series of the books but never read them. This movie was good enough to make me want to buy it and read. I had depression myself. I am over it now so no worry. The lines Tsure - the husband of the main roll, who had depression - said were all empathetic for me. I couldn't stop myself welling up with tears. The emotion in the past came up to me.
Hey, this was the very first time for me that the naptial vows really had meaning. Heh, heh.
