エルタテハ初めて見ました。
後翅の裏面にL字紋があるのですね。
本物そっくりの絵にも驚きました。
昆虫や植物の絵を描いていました。
難しいのはシャクガの仲間です。

エルタテハは日本で採集されたものが命名されたようです。
学名の最後にSAMURAIの文字があります。
命名者がこの蝶を見てサムライ侍をイメージした・・・？
