我々もレパートリーとしている曲です。哀愁を帯びたメロディー、歌詞がいいですね。The Journeymen(ジャーニーメン)をㇸてThe Mamas & the Papasを結成したJohn Phillip(ジョン・フィリップス)とJohn Stewart(ジョン・スチュアート)との合作です。John Stewartは1961–1967年までThe Kingston Trioに在籍、この曲は1965年リリースのアルバム"Where Have All The Flowers Gone"に収められています。彼は、自ら多くのオリjナル作品を手掛け、トラディショナル・フォークからモダン・フォークのグループに変化させました。他のミュ-ジシャンにも楽曲を提供し、1967年にはThe Monkeesの”Daydream Believer”は大ヒットとなりました。The Serendipity Singersは1964ー1965年に活動The New Christy Minstrelsと同様の男女混成のグループです。"Don't Let the Rain Come Down”が唯一のヒット曲です。
