Girls' Generation releases promotional video for new song in Japan... an extraordinary transformation!

Girls' Generation released the promotional video for their new song "My Oh My" to be released in Japan on the 5th.

Girls' Generation released the PV for their new song "My Oh My" on their official YouTube channel that day. In this promotional video, Girls' Generation has shed their cute image and taken on an extraordinary "rock chic look" with leather hot pants, flashy decorations, and fishnet stockings.

The PV for "My Oh My" shows Girls' Generation members taking mischievous revenge on a man who is interested in other women over their girlfriend.

Girls' Generation's new song "My Oh My" will be included in their third album to be released on the 11th of next month.

On Monday, November 4th, 2013 (National Holiday), Girls' Generation held a premium live concert for 500 people in a quiet location in Tokyo. The atmosphere was like that of a live house, and it was quite good. People who won tickets and went to the concert were able to see their singing and dancing, which has made their name known all over the world, up close, so they must have felt many times more satisfied than if they had gone to an arena tour at a mammoth venue.

The ratio of men to women was about 3:7. It seems that there are a lot more male fans than before. When I think of the first Girls' Generation concert, it was like 1:9, and the men seemed to be shrunk and couldn't even make a sound in the venue.

If it had been 3:7, some of the men might have been strong enough to shout out the names of their favorite members.

I'm not old enough to go to such places anymore. One time, I went to a venue in Shibuya to see my nephew's band live. Most of the people there were under 30 years old. I don't even remember what I said when I was dragged out to a social gathering with the band members and introduced under everyone's gaze. My nephew added something to my story, but maybe I just ignored him. They seemed to be a pretty popular band, but my nephew also gave up his dream of debuting and returned to the countryside.

So I think it's enough for me to just enjoy watching their music videos, but when I read stories on blogs about how he shook hands with Taeyeon or made eye contact with Seohyun from just three meters away, I feel intensely envious. It seems like he still has that competitive spirit as a man.

It is still a life-long dream to go to one of their concerts.

Tiffany flew to America to receive the Video of the Year award, and Yuna was unable to appear at the concert that day because she was filming for KBS 2TV's new Monday-Tuesday drama, The Prime Minister and I.
Apparently the cast members worked really hard to make up for their colleagues' absence... how admirable. Even real sisters wouldn't be able to do this these days.
