EY、グローバル全体で１１．６％増収（economiaより）

EY global revenues up 11.6%

EYの2015年6月期のグローバル・ネットワーク全体の売上が、前の期と比べて、11.6％増加したという記事（前の期の増収率は６．８％）。2008年以来最大の伸び率だそうです。

EY saw global revenues rise by 11.6% this year – compared to 6.8% in the previous year – marking the fastest growth the Big Four firm has seen since 2008

売上は２８７億ドル（前の期は274億ドル）となりました。

The firm announced combined global revenue of $28.7bn (£18.6bn) for its financial year ending 30 June 2015, compared to $27.4bn (£16.8bn) in the previous year.

４つのサービスライン、主要な市場および4つの地域すべてにわたって増収を達成しました。

EY experienced growth across all four service lines, all key markets and its four geographic areas.

アドバイザリーは17.6％、保証業務は８．１％、トランザクションアドバイザリーサービスは１５．５％、税務は１０．３％のそれぞれ増収となっており、前の期と比べていずれも増収率が上昇しています。

Advisory grew 17.6%, compared to 14.4% last year. Assurance grew 8.1%, up from 4.5%, transaction advisory services grew 15.5% up from 6.5% and tax grew 10.3%, a rise of 6%.

地域的には、2ケタの増収となっている地域が多い中で、日本は４．６％増にとどまっています。

Strong performance in the developed markets was led by EY US, which grew 12.5% to $11.2bn, its largest increase in 10 years. The UK achieved strong growth, led largely by new major accounts across its audit practice, as well as the strength of its transaction advisory services and tax. EY also saw double-digit growth in its Australian, German and Italian member firms.

The firm’s emerging market practices grew by 12.3% overall, compared with 8.7% last year. India led the way with19.7% growth. Revenue increased across the Americas by 12.3%, Europe, Middle East, India and Africa by 11.6%, Asia-Pacific by11.2% and Japan 4.6%.

人員的には、212,000人に達したそうです。535百万ドルを教育訓練に投資しています。

The Big Four firm is also growing in size. In the 2015 financial year, EY’s headcount reached a record 212,000 globally. The firms invested $535m (£346.7m) in training and delivered 8.2 million learning hours.

EYの戦略についてもふれています。監査品質などにおけるイノベーションに多額の投資を行うそうです。

買収戦略による伸びもあるのでしょうが、グローバルでみると順調に売り上げを伸ばしているようです。その中で、日本のメンバーファームの地位は相対的に落ちていかざるをえないでしょう。世界経済における日本の相対的な地位が下がってきているのと対応している面もあるでしょうから、ある程度は仕方がありません。

なお、ビッグ4のグローバルネットワークは、資本的なつながりによるものではないので、連結財務諸表は作っておらず、この数字も各事務所の売上を単純合計しただけのもの（内部売り上げは消去しているかもしれませんが）と思われます。また、連結ではないので、グループ全体の利益は計算されていないのでしょう。

人数が多いから、その中で辞めたい人の数も多いという要因もあるのでは。

11.6％の増収という数字は、売上高の金額から計算される率と合わないのですが、たぶん為替レートの影響と思われます。EYのプレスリリースでは、Fastest growth since 2008 with revenues up by 11.6% in local currencyといっています。
