I received today your reception report, thank you for taking the time to listen and report to us. The service is a humanitarian radio targeting Somali listeners in the Horn of Africa region.
As we are not a radio station (we produce Somali programming that is aired for us by a commercial shortwave provider) we do not have a formal system to confirm your report.
You also sent two US dollars in cash, which I presume is a donation intended for the beneficiaries – would you be happy for me to cash this and give it to a needy person here in Kenya?
Here, we are sad to see the devastation and loss of life caused in Japan by the earthquake and tsunami and hope you and your family are safe, wish you all the very best.
